One of the great things about Anaheim is the wide variety of shopping it offers. Unlike your Beverly Hills and Hollywood shopping hot spots, Anaheim and its surrounding areas has a little something for every one's tastes. Whether you are looking for antiques or the latest designer duds, you'll be sure to find it in Anaheim.

Let's start off with Downtown Disney. This is a magical place that has something for people of all ages. This newly opened shopping, restaurant, and entertainment complex is located right next door to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure park in the Disneyland Resort complex. Obviously, this shopping and entertainment arena put its focus on children, families, and tourists. You may not be able to buy tools, but you can definitely buy a great local souvenir or that special outfit for your family function. You can also browse dresses at Trendy Bambini without even leaving your home.

Another great place in the Anaheim area to check out is The Block at Orange. Restaurants and Orange County's largest movie theatres are found next door to bookstores, boutiques, and sidewalk shops. All located in one imaginative open-air shopping promenade. Stores offer a variety of options from hand garden tools to sterling silver jewelery. Also, what's great about 'The Block' is there is something for everyones price range. The outdoor shops offer hand made crafts and jewelery for reasonable prices while the fancy boutiques sell items for those with a much larger wallet. The Block is also home to well known stores like Fredrick's of Hollywood, Toys International, Sketchers, and a Virgin Megastore.

Now here is the mecca for all fashionista's. Fashion Island. Located in Newport Beach, approximately twenty minutes from Anaheim, Fashion Island is the place to spruce up your wardrobe with some designer labels. Of course, the open-air, two hundred store complex offers a range of shopping at various prices. If you are a teenage girl looking to add some spice to your wardrobe, you could check out Urban Outfitters or Forever 21. But, the majority of stores are a bit more upscale like Betsey Johnson and Juicy Couture, for example. The Island is anchored by Bloomingdales, Macy's, and Nordstrom. Fashion Island would be a great place to visit if you were looking for a great Sophia Tolli wedding gown or the perfect little black dress for a cocktail party. Unique fountains provide playful backdrops that entertain children and families and always draw large crowds. The koi pond is also a popular favourite. Special events throughout the year include summertime concerts, children's activities, fashion shows, charity events and a dramatic holiday tree lighting ceremony. Fashion Island is shopping and entertainment at its finest.

The shopping districts in and around Anaheim have a lot to offer. You can find the highest quality fashions for both men and women, oodles of department stores, great handmade crafts and jewelery and even a variety of pet stores where you can find everything for animals. These shopping districts are the perfect place to take some of your guests that may be in town and introduce them to great shops, entertainment, and dining.
